Why doesn’t Infront Professional Terminal respond when I try to open?

 We recommend you to adjust some of the settings for your Anti-Virus program as it may block Infront Professional Terminal from opening. These settings may vary dependent on what anti-virus software you are using. This could happen if you are using Anti-Virus programs like AVG or Avast. Below you will find solutions for the most commonly used anti-virus programs:


Solution Avast:


  1. Right-click on the Avast orange icon in the Windows system tray.
  2. Select Avast shields control and select how long you want to disable it.
  3. Confirm by clicking Yes in the dialog.


Solution AVG:

  1. Open AVG Anti-Virus.
  2. Open the option menu and click on “Components”.
  3. Turn off “File shield” and “Behaviour shield”.


Solution Windows Defender

  1. Open Windows Defender.
  2. Go to "Protection for Virus".
  3. Turn off "realtime shield"
  4. Open the Infront Professional Terminal. The terminal should then be working as normal.
