Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our team in Johannesburg.

In a varied and exciting role, you will apply your knowledge of the financial markets, technical skills and customer services skills to our financial professional clients and prospects.

As you gain hands-on expertise with our product you will also have opportunities to work with other departments to contribute in the areas of product development, sales and other cross-functional projects.

  • Conduct client training for banks, brokerages and direct Infront end-user clients
  • Set up, support and on board new & trial clients
  • Support Infront sales department before, during and after the sale
  • Act as a pro-active Relationship Manager to assigned clients
  • Promote Infront solutions to existing clients
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects
  • Test newly developed Infront product features
  • Provide constructive feedback to help develop Infront solutions

Working hours

The Client Services team is organized into two shifts to cover exchange-opening hours. Standard working hours are 07:00-16:00 or from 08:30-17:30. Some work outside normal hours may be necessary for traveling to customers, attending seminars, giving presentations and similar.

Our ideal candidate

  • 3 years of higher education degree level (preferably within finance or IT)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ financial market experience
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills – comfortable in giving presentations and meeting clients
  • Good general computer skills and savvy in Social Media (Twitter, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Analytical and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure when required
  • A genuine enthusiasm and a capacity to learn new things in the financial markets 
  • Comfortable to work independently or as part of a team to achieve results
  • Ready to assume responsibility and take initiative
  • Passion about working with leading edge technology
  • Motivation to provide superb customer service (both internally and externally)
  • Able and willing to travel within South Africa
